type='text'>Thoughts on the Categorical imperative

To summarize the enlightenment project on morality ended with the Titian of moral autonomy and Immanuel Kant as one biographer summarize’s kant’s life, as “Kant had no Life”. Came up with a moral argument called the Categorical imperative. Simply put act in such a way that if it were to become a universal norm. This became the standard of morality. Perhaps we could say that morality being the last place to fall to the into humanities ever increasing circle of supposed knowledge with self at the center. The only problem is the circle that man draws excludes morality if and only if there is a God or personal being outside the circle. In other words Kant falls into the notion that “Man is the measure mentality even if he does not mean to. If there is a person outside the circle that hasn’t been considered who demands our affections as part of the acts that humans play perhaps it is we who believe in such a God should command the universal axiom of considering Him once again as the basis of morality and to whom all love is due perhaps we should command men everywhere to repent or rather set there affections rightly upon Him. Of course the only reason one knows that there is a God outside the circle is the fact that he has invaded our circle interpersonally affection our lives below the level of concussions producing and effect otherwise known as regeneration. So let us speak the truth and let Him bring whom He Brings but let us do so with God as our primarily basis of morality that inculdes the properness of the act of decalereing the gospel which is the reailty of Who Christ is , What He’s done , and What he going to Do, and also have our affection properlly on him , may we never utter that lost men and women should be treated as ends in themselves but let us keep God as our end both mentaitly and affectionatly perhaps then we can be faithful never to compromise the chief end or rather offen the most important person that our hearts where made for lest we be as restless as when we or Kant tried to set out on our own two feet and try to draw the circle of moraility without Him.

Today’s Difficult Question

Do Things happen outside the will of God ?
