An old one, yes! :-o
I was about to ask when you were going to tell us who the philosopher was, but all one need do is...
I know who it is!
Andy Griffith?
Well I must admit, that this is a most difficult problem. Who in the world could it be? I think with sofyst I figured it out by doing something very obvious. At first look I thought maybe it was C.S. Lewis, but Lewis looks too much like Hitchcock. So I kept on searching, and the answer just popped up. . . . literally. I should have guessed this one first since Bryan has let me borrow his book, and won't stop talking about this super-man. ;)
One scholar revealed, one to go! (Me thinks this man a teacher.);-)
Could it be... Clark Gordon! Oh, wait, Gordon Clark!
its B-diddy... I mean bryan
Dr. Bates
